Sophia Romero Lara is a native Californian, however she has lived in quite a few places, in Acapulco and Merida, Mexico, as a child, and recently in Milan, Italy while studying at the prestigious Italian International Business school, SDA Bocconi, where she received an MBA in Fine Food & Beverage Management. She is also a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles, with a BA in Political Science. She is fluent in Spanish and Italian. She has worked recently for Hilton Hotels, as the assistant to the Food & Beverage Director and as the Restaurant/Outlets Manager. She also has worked for the Four Seasons Hotel in Milan, as well as a Sommelier for the Italian Winery Castel di Salve at the 2010 edition of VinItaly in Verona. She is an AIS (Associazione Italiana Sommelier) certified Sommelier. She loves great food and wine! She is also a very active mother of three, and a Girl Scout!
She will be focusing on customer relations, administrative and accounting, event, brand awareness and social media, amongst other things.
